Enough with the interruptions, already

I'm guessing that when I turned 10, I kinda stopped thinking that outside interference during matches was cool, and more of an annoyance. And it happens time and time again, for some unknown reason, but I usually shrug it off, and die a little on the inside.

Until it happened this Friday night, on Smackdown, in a championship bout between Randy Orton and Batista.

I was pretty surprised that the even scheduled the fight, as this really was PPV-material. My two favourite guys, duking it out for the world championship title, and the outcome wasn't really set in stone either. I could see either guy winning, even if I don't think the fans love Randy quite as much as I do.

And what happens? Five minutes into the fight, that I was enjoying immensely, some little bitch, I think it was Ray Mysterio, comes rushing to the ring, with the whole gay RAW train behind him, and the fight is quickly ruled a no-contest.

I mean, for fucks sake, if you have to ruin a fight, why not interrupt some bullshit like Melina vs Trish Stratus, or some other crap that no-one really cares about. But Randy vs Batista? Smoke a fucking cock whoever scripted that shit. It pisses me off to no end. Grrrr.

Oh yeah, I'm off to meet the good folks at SimBin in Göteborg this Friday, to talk about a possible future job. Wish me luck.

Liberating

After months and months of wearing EastWest boxers, it feels kinda good to put on a baggy pair of boxers, and letting my balls hang loose. Free the Helsingborg two!

In an unrelated story, I kinda feel sorry for the little guys. Whole Tomato have had a really good product out, Visual Assist, that more or less lived on the suckiness of the Visual Studio IDE, but with the 2005 release of VS, I don't really know how important VA is gonna be anymore. I'm still running VA alongside VS, but I've already removed VA's "go to definition" function, and replaced it withs VS's built in one, so I guess it's really just a matter of how good VS's tab completion is now.

I always felt that VA was fighting a loosing battle, seeing as they actually have to parse all the source code to build their database (and risk messing up), while the compiler gets all this stuff for free, and it's really just up to the IDE developers to put the data to good use.

In other news, is the Ottocrat's drivel really worth as much as the pure Internet gold found in Magnusspace? The good folks at business-opportunities seem to think so.

I love komplett.se

I usually buy all my computer stuff from komplett.se, and have been pretty much as satisfied as I could expect to be, when ordering stuff over the internet. Until this week's transactions, which I almost feel go beyond the call of duty.

I ordered 2 new hard drives (someone keeps filling my existing ones with wrestling and warez), and some new RAM (because I was under the impression that my old RAM was broken) on Monday evening, and on Wednesday afternood, I get an SMS telling me that it had been delivered to Hemköp, and that I could go and pick it up. Needless to say, I was pretty impressed with the speedy delivery (and I love getting SMS!).

Last night, I also discovered that my old RAM wasn't really broken in any way, so I didn't really know what to do with this new gig I was sitting on. So I mailed komplett this morning, and within two hours, got a reply saying that as long as I hadn't broken the packaging, I was free to send it back, along with step by step instructions on how to do it.

Pretty nice customer service, if I do say so myself.

Dumbass of the year?

I hereby nominate Emma from Robinson for dumbass of the year, after her stellar performance in this weeks Ö-råd.

She got herself voted out, made her friends burn all their votes for nothing, and instead of saying something redeeming, like "wow, I'm really a stupid fuck, aren't I?", her commentary on the situation was "wow, this was really exciting". Dumbass.
